BODY PIERCING
WHAT IS BODY PIERCING?
Ear piercing is a really common way of expressing individuality or even honouring a tradition. We understand that having your ears pierced is often someone's first experience with piercing and it can be a special moment, so we aim to make it as special as possible. We use needles to pierce a hole through the earlobe or cartilage and will then place some jewelry in the area.
We offer full ear piercing including:
• Lobe Piercing
• Multi-Lobe Piercing
• Helix/Scapha
• Rook
• Forward Helix
• Daith
• Tragus
• Anti-tragus
• Snug
WHAT JEWELLERY DO WE USE?
All types of jewellery coming soon.
AGE OF CONSENT
Minimum age of 16, you must present a legal and valid ID to receive this service.
AFTERCARE
When we pierce your ears, we will give you advice on aftercare however a few tips are:
Leave your starter earrings in for up to 6 weeks to aid in healing without closing the hole
Clean the piercing with saline solution
Rotate your earrings to prevent them from getting stuck
Avoid touching your ears unless you have clean hands
Avoid getting the piercing wet in swimming pools, hot tubs or open water to avoid bacterial infection
Make sure to keep an eye on the piercing to be aware of symptoms of infection such as sore, red or puffy piercing sites.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU COME IN?
You can choose your earrings, then we will mark the site of the intended piercing for you to check before we pierce. Then we will clean and numb the piercing area before using a needle to pierce through the hole and we will then follow through with your chosen earring. We will then clean the area again and give you advice on caring for the piercing.
ANY SIDE EFFECTS TO BE AWARE OF?
Even if you take good care of a new piercing, sometimes (rarely) the piercing site can become infected, you could have an allergic reaction or suffer from splitting earlobes.
ALLERGIES
If you have a metal allergy, please double check with us that the needles and jewelry that we use does not contain the offending metal prior to booking your appointment. If you fail to do this and we cannot go ahead with your appointment, you will not receive your deposit back.
WHO CAN'T HAVE BODY PIERCING?
Whilst ear piercing is considered safe, if you have any medical issues such as conditions that need blood thinners, auto immune conditions triggered by trauma or are immunocompromised, we recommend discussing with your doctor before booking your appointment.
